Youth and Children’s Ministries

NURSERY – The nursery is available for Sunday School and Sunday morning services for zero to three years old. Our nursery is clean, safe, and staffed by caring people. Mothers are given a pager so they can easily be contacted during the service if there is a need.

Sunday School begins at 10:00 a.m. and is an excellent place for kids to learn the Bible. Our teachers teach from the Bible with relevant applications for each age group.

Our youth leaders strive to encourage teens in the ways of the Lord with biblical lessons, practical instruction, and regular youth activities throughout the year. Vacation Bible School (ages 4-10) and Youth Camp each summer (ages 13 and up) is always a time of spiritual renewal.

What Are The Services Like?

Our services follow a more conservative, traditional format. We sing traditional hymns and believe the focal point of the service is the preaching of the Bible. We believe in the spirit of liberty, not legalism. We do not pressure anyone to give a certain amount, dress a certain way, or be someone they are not. We encourage everyone to trust Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour, and Christians to serve the Lord will all their heart!

What Kind Of Church Is Calvary?

BAPTIST – We are a Baptist Church, which means we hold to the basic Baptist doctrine. We are not charismatic. We do not practice speaking in tongues, faith healing, or believe in extra biblical revelation through visions or dreams.

INDEPENDENT – We are an Independent Baptist Church which means we are not affiliated or controlled by any denominational head or church hierarchy. We independently choose our own missionaries as well as our church leadership.

BIBLE-BELIEVING – We are a Bible-believing Baptist Church which means we believe the scriptures are without error and infallible. We believe God preserved His word in the King James Bible.
